About the Role

Always Compassionate Veterinary Care in Pittsburgh, PA is looking for a veterinarian to join our 4-doctor practice. We are a canine and feline AAHA accredited general practice that offers a variety of medical, preventative, and surgical services to our clients. We encourage a team-oriented, compassionate, and caring environment where we treat our client’s pets as if they were our own.

 

About ACVC: 

 

â?? We are proud of our great work/life balance - there are no weekends, overnights, or on-call requirements, and we refer to local ER and specialty centers.

â?? Mentorship and learning are important to us, which is why we offer up to 5 days of CE PTO and extensive mentorship for our doctors. 

â?? Providing a family-friendly workplace is important to us, so we revise our schedule to ensure that our staff can enjoy time off. 

â?? Our beautiful facility includes an Onemytis Airplasma surgical device, Color Doppler ultrasound, Summus Class 4 laser, on-site lab, 3 Imagyst analyzers, SignalPet AI (Artificial Intelligence) for radiology, digital x-ray, and digital dental x-ray. 

â?? Our long-tenured team is a close-knit group that enjoys team-building activities and continuing education in monthly team meetings. 

 

Associate Position: 

 

â?? This is a great opportunity for a new graduate to obtain mentorship from an experienced team of doctors. 

â?? This is also a great opportunity for an experienced doctor to join and share their knowledge with our team. 

â?? Our doctor schedule is flexible and includes no weekends or on call. â?? Surgery is not a requirement of an incoming doctor if they are not interested. 

 

We are in the Borough of Whitehall in the South Hills of Pittsburgh. The Borough of Whitehall offers a suburban feel with all the benefits of a bustling downtown. There is access to a multitude of local breweries, sporting events, museums, and restaurants nearby. We are also close to outdoor locations for skiing, hiking, biking, rafting. This is a family-friendly area with a fantastic school system, including Baldwin High School, located next door to our practice.
